Day 18: Leavenworth, WA

Buenas tardes amigos,

I had a lovely day today in Leavenworth. Zoe, Andre, Luci, and I had a delicious breakfast this morning. Here's a photo of my and Luci reading a book together:

Then Zoe, Luci, and I went to Zoe's parents' farm that's just a couple miles away to pick some corn to have for dinner and to see the animals. They have horses, a pony, sheep, chickens, goats, dogs, and a cat. It was very fun. We were planning to go for a hike after that, but the weather was pretty yucky, so we decided against it. Then we went to town and visited some more of the cute shops. Here's a photo I took of Luci drinking her Starbucks:

Don't worry, it's not espresso. It's milk with a shot of vanilla in it.

We had lunch at a great little place called Gypsy Cafe. When we were done with lunch it was raining pretty hard, which apparently never happens on this side of the mountain. Tonight, Zoe and Andre's friends, Lori, Patrick, and their son, Tobin. came over for dinner. Tobin and Luci played together, the guys played guitar in the living room, and the ladies stayed at the table talking. It was fun. Now I'm exhausted and about to go to bed. In the morning, I head to Seattle.

I'll update again tomorrow.

Take care,

Danielle
