Sorry it's been so log since the last post. Things were up in the air for a while, and I didn't want to jinx anything by talking about it on my blog, so I just didn't post.
At the beginning of December, I started working at the Trish McEvoy counter at Nordstrom in Montgomery Mall. I really like it. I've met some really interesting people and I'm learning a lot about makeup and skincare. I'm also learning a lot about business and sales. Ultimately, I want to start my own business as an independent makeup artist, and this seems like a good first step.
Next week I start my other part time job working for End to End Solutions. They provide special education support to schools in the area. I worked with them when I was at DC Prep and E.L. Haynes. They're definitely top-notch, and I'm really looking forward to it. I think I'm going to be working with a couple of elementary schools in Anacostia, doing mostly compliance support, but also possibly some instruction. I'll give you more details when I have them.
